WWH Charitable Foundation kick-started the COVID-19 Lockdown Food Project heeding the cries of our brethren who we cater to. With their sources of income halted due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the Trust assumed its responsibility to Help. With brave volunteers backing our cause and with collaborators & benefactors aiding our every step, we were able to bring smiles to the face of thousands. We hope to continue our outreach of Grocery Kits, Hygiene Kits, and Food Packages/Meals.
Our efforts spanned to more than 40 tribal villages and slums; from the remote villages of Aarey and SGNP to Gorai, Mankhurd and Amboli. Till date, we have actively reached out to over 40 tribal villages/padas in Aarey and across Mumbai too, listening to their pleas and have distributed:
- 92,400+ Nutritional Meals
- 33,600+ Grocery Care Kits
- 29,500+ Nutritional Supplements
- 11,850+ Face Masks
